1. Information Collection and Use

Status Saver does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or personal media.

The App is designed to process WhatsApp status media locally on your device.

However, the App uses certain third-party services, such as Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics, which may automatically collect limited device, usage, advertising, diagnostic, or analytics information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. Files and Storage Access

Status Saver uses the Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) to allow you to select and access WhatsApp status media stored on your device.

• Local Processing: Status images and videos accessed through the App are processed locally on your device.
• Saving Media: When you choose to save a status, the selected image or video is saved locally to your device’s gallery storage.
• No Cloud Uploads: We do NOT upload your WhatsApp status images, videos, or other personal media to our servers.
• Folder Access: The App only accesses folders or files that you explicitly select or authorize through Android's Storage Access Framework. We do not use "All Files Access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).

We do not operate a server for collecting or storing your WhatsApp status media.

3. Third-Party Services

Status Saver uses third-party services to provide advertising, analytics, consent management, and other functionality. These services may collect certain information according to their respective privacy policies:

Status Saver uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Where required, the App displays a consent form using Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized advertising or related data processing occurs. You may be able to manage your advertising and privacy preferences through your Android device settings and through privacy options provided within the App.

5. Analytics

We may use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to help improve its functionality, stability, and performance. Analytics data may include information such as device model, OS version, App interactions, session frequency, and diagnostic crash reports.

We do not use Firebase Analytics to access or upload your WhatsApp status images or videos.

6. Data Sharing

• We do NOT sell your personal information.

• We do NOT upload or share your WhatsApp status media with our servers or any unauthorized third parties.

• Third-party services integrated into the App, including Google services, may process information as described in their respective privacy policies and according to your consent choices where applicable.

7. Data Security

Your WhatsApp status media is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. The security of locally stored files also depends on your device's operating system, security settings, and other applications installed on your device.

While we take reasonable steps to design the App with privacy in mind, no electronic system or mobile platform can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Status Saver is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information directly from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App in a manner controlled by us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

9. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your device, location, and applicable privacy laws, you have options to:

• Manage advertising preferences through your Android or Google account settings.
• Manage consent through the privacy options available within the App.
• Revoke folder or file permissions through your Android device settings.
• Clear App data or uninstall the App to remove locally stored App cache.
